TWO  DAY CARVINGS

St. Louis Superfan Carving

Memorial Day 2013 Veteran Carving

This is a 14 foot eagle overlooking the Missouri River.
It is carrying a fish and has a deer in the foreground atop a bluff.

This is an early version of "Big Bird" from Jim Henson's drawings before the Sesame Street  was on the air.   It took two days to carve the bird and the bench.

This KIRKWOOD PIONEER was carved from an Oak tree that had died near the New Kirkwood Football field in two days.

MARY   March 2011   Freeburg, IL
I carved this Mary from an Oak in two 8 hour days for Jeff in Freeburg as a memorial to his Mother.   It is stained with natural wood tones and sealed with polyuretane to last for many years to come.

Angel and Pedestal

Apple Butter Festival 2010 (KIMMSWICK)
This was a big oak tree that had been cut down 7 years ago and had quite a bit of rot, but the center was solid.   Over two days my crew and I turned it into a huge jar of apple butter with a lady stirring a kettle of apple butter on top. (2 days)

Gargoyle
This Gargoyle was carved in Feb. '11 in Webster Groves and has always been known as the Gargoyle House.
It took two days and was Hollow in the center. (2 days)

Castle Playhouse

Pelican
This was a Large old oak tree that had died near a newly built house.    The owners wanted a Pelican to accent their house and remind them of the Nantucket area. (Kirkwood)

Gold and silver Angel

This St. Francis was carved in Ste Genevieve with a few animals.

HUGE 12 FOOT PIN OAK TRUNK....
