Style
Totem poles can be carved in a variety of styles. Every carving at the WOOD DEN is customizable and can be carved to your preferences. A few examples of Totem styles:

*Family Totem- A unique way to let everyone in the family display their inner spirit. Each family member picks an animal or carving to represent them on each family totem.
What to expect during the carving process.
Frequent communication is important during the creation process. Large carvings require planning, and time for the wood to dry properly . Often, pictures and progress are communicated directly to the customer during the carving process. Which typically takes 2 weeks to several months. We always strive to get all the details sorted out prior to beginning your carving and to keep you updated throughout the process.
Pricing
Totem pricing:
3-6 Foot ....$95 per foot
7-10 Foot ....$170 per foot
11-14 Foot ....$200 per foot
15-20 Foot ....$300 per foot
Add 30% for detail
Larger diameter totems will increase the price
Pick up or ship ?
We encourage everyone to arrange a pick-up of your carving. But if you're outside of our area or need it delivered we can ship your totem. Please keep in mind that carvings under 6 foot tall and under 70 pounds can be shipped at a reasonable rate ($55-95) Over 6 foot and 70 pounds can be shipped freight with a big range in price depending on size of totem and delivery address. Check with us for freight options.
