The cost of a carved Human is based on Size and level of Detail

Most of the time a carved person is carved to be life sized or slightly smaller.   Many times it is beneficial to have the eyes at about eye level with the person buying the carving.    If the carving is on a 6 inch base, then it would be slightly smaller than life sized.   A minimum of detail would be $100 per foot tall.  A maximum of detail may be $200 per foot or more.

The detail in a human carving would be in the face, hands, exposed muscles, and clothing items (buttons or a sword).    To have a carving of an actual person (Grandpa or Stan Musial), I will need multiple pictures and there may be an added charge for time.
